Daywise Tour Itinerary (10 Days)

Day 1 : GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STNâ€“ SHILLONG (130 KMS / 3 hrs drive)

Arrival at Guwahati airport or Rly station & drive to Shillong. Enroute visit Umium Lake. Check in Hotel. If time permits visit Ward’s lake, lady hyderi park etc. Overnight at Shillong.

Day 2 : SHILLONG â€“ CHERRAPUNJEE - SHILLONG (60 KMs / 2 hrs-One way)

Today morning after breakfast excursion to Cherrapunjee. Visit Dwan Syiem view point, Noh kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco park etc. Later drive back to Shillong. On the way visit to Shillong Peak & Elephant Falls. In the evening, you can go for shopping at Police Bazar. Overnight in Shillong.

Day 3 : SHILLONG â€“TEZPUR (350 kms / 7 Â½ hrs)

After breakfast transfer to Tezpur. Check in Hotel. If time permits visit Mahabhairab Temple, Agnigarh. Overnight at Tezpur.

Day 4 : TEZPUR â€“ DIRANG (185 Kms / 6 Â½ hrs)

After breakfast drive to Dirang. Enroute visit Tippi Orchid Centre. Check in Hotel. Evening at Leisure. Overnight at Dirang.

Day 5 : DIRANG â€“ TAWANG (155 Kms / 6 hrs)

Morning drive to Tawang. Enroute witness the snowcapped Sella Pass at 14000 ft and the Jaswant Garh War Memorial. (Legend has it that Jaswant (Mahavir Chakra Awardee (Posthumous) of 4th Batallion Garhwal Rifles), fought a lone battle against the invading Chinese during the 1962 war. His spirit is still believed to protect the place). Overnight in Tawang.

Day 6 : TAWANG

Tawang - The beautiful land of the Monpa tribes with the “GALDEN NAMGYEL LHATSE” Monestary - one of the largest Lamaseries of Mahayana sect in Asia. The birth place of the 6th Dalai Lama, the Monastery is 400 year old and is adorned with the 18 feet high statue of Lord Buddha. ‘The Land of Dawn-lit Mountains’ at 3500 mts gives you unparallel purity of nature. Visit the monastery and the War Memorial. Evening free for shopping. Overnight in Tawang.

Day 7 : TAWANG â€“ BOMDILA (180 Kms / 6 hrs)

Morning drive back to Bomdila. Later visit Bomdila Monastery. Check in Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight in Bomdila.

Day 8 : BOMDILA â€“ KAZIRANGA (270 Kms / 7 Â½ hrs)

After breakfast drive to Kaziranga. Check in Hotel. Overnight in Kaziranga.

Day 9 : KAZIRANGA â€“ GUWAHATI (250Kms/ 5 hrs)

Early morning go for Elephant ride in the park. (Elephant riding time: 1st Ride- 5.15-6.15 AM; 2nd ride: 6.30-7.30 am) Return for Breakfast. After breakfast Jeep safari in the Central Range. Later drive to Guwahati. Check in Hotel. Evening enjoy sunset River cruise over the river Brahmaputra (Cruise is subject to weather conditions & availability, PAYMENT WILL BE DIRECT). Overnight in Guwahati.

Day 10 : GUWAHATI AIRPORT / RLY STATION DEPARTURE

Morning visit Kamakhya Temple. In time transfer to Guwahati airport / Rly station. HAPPY TOUR ENDS HERE.

Booking & Cancellation Policy

Please note – Irrespective of above mentioned cancellations slabs – in case of cancellation of tour services after the booking is made with us – a minimum 10% service charges would be applicable.

In case you cancel the trip after commencement refund would be restricted to a limited amount that too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers we patronize. For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation and missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.
